يبلغ طول زورق أفانت 2200 : 90.98 متر
وبازاحة 2200 طن،
وسرعة قصوى تبلغ 25 عقدة.
وهو متعدد المهام،
ويقوم بمراقبة وحماية منطقة النفوذ الاقتصادي والطرق البحرية،
والدفاع عن المصالح الاستراتيجية،
الى جانب تنفيذه لعمليات البحث والانقاذ
ودعم الوحدات البحرية الاخرى،
وتقديم العون الإنساني،
وأخيراً مقاومة التهريب والمخدرات والهجرة غير الشرعية
والمراقبة وجمع المعلومات
والدفاع السطحي
وشن الحرب الالكترونية الهامدة.

تحليلي الاستراتيجي هو بين ثلاث امور... الامر الاول انها مناوره علي امريكا من اجل الرضوخ لكافة مطالبنا حيال الصفقه البحريه ...الامر الثاني ان ما حدث من مفاوضات مع امريكا كان مناوره من اجل الحصول علي هذه الصفقه الاسبانيه بالمواصفات التي تريده ... الثالث انها مناوره علي الاثنين معا من اجل الحصول علي صفقه فرنسيه حسب مواصفاتنا .. الرابع والاخير هو الخصول علي هذه الصفقه من اجل تقويه بحريتنا والقادم سوف يكون اجمل واقوى
