JEDDAH: A Pakistan Navy ship PNS Saif left Jeddah port on Wednesday after spending two days in the city on a goodwill mission.
The ship, a Sword Class F22P Frigate commissioned on Sept. 15, 2010, is equipped with state-of-the-art weapons, sensors and machinery, making it capable of undertaking all kinds of maritime operations at sea in war and peace.
The officers and crew had been welcomed in Jeddah by Saudi naval officers and officials from Pakistan’s consulate, who later saw them off. Those present included the consul general of Pakistan.
