افرجت شركة BAE Systems عن فيديو لتجربة اطلاق صاروخ SPEAR 3 من مقاتلة Typhoon ZK355 ، وترافقها المقاتلة Typhoon ZK313/AX الاختبارية
وقد اجريت التجربة خلال شهر مارس الفائت

Eurofighter Typhoon

Phase 1 Enhancements - In service now
Typhoon’s Phase 1 Enhancement (P1E) upgrades, delivered in 2015, meant the platform became a high-end multi-role weapon system, with Air to Air capability including ASRAAM and AMRAAM weapons and the integration of Paveway IV for precision Air to Surface operations.

Phase 2 & Phase 3 Enhancements - The next steps
Development flight testing for the Phase 2 and Phase 3 Enhancement programmes is underway now. P2E will bring a range of new, long-range capabilities to the aircraft including:
A deep attack capability enabling stand-off targeting of high value assets through the integration of the Storm Shadow Air to Surface cruise missile.
A Beyond Visual Range capability through integration of the Meteor Beyond Visual Range Air to Air missile, providing enhanced capability against a variety of targets such as agile fast jets, Unmanned Air Vehicles and cruise missiles.
P3E will introduce a low collateral, high precision strike air-to-surface capability to Eurofighter Typhoon through integration of the Brimstone Air to Surface weapon, giving a precision effect with low collateral damage against fast-moving armoured targets.
Future Capability - Beyond P3E
Eurofighter Typhoon’s capability evolution is continuing, with the next phase of enhancements being defined.
The flexibility of the aircraft will mean continual evolution of weapons, such as SPEAR and Marte-ER, sensors and information management to ensure Typhoon continues to meet its future operational requirements and is equipped to tackle the threats of tomorrow.
E-Scan Radar
Theatre dominance comes through reach, vision and performance.
Eurofighter Typhoon’s AESA radar, the Captor-E, is now in developmental flight test on the aircraft.
The large-area nose of the Eurofighter Typhoon allows more than 1,000 Transmit receive Modules to be fitted increasing maximum detection range and power.
An innovative re-positioner offers an exceptionally wide field of regard giving huge tactical advantage and flexibility. In addition, the system offers simultaneous multifunctional performance and capability, Data-link capabilities, electronic attack and electronic support measures.
The Captor-E radar will offer a variety of benefits over M-Scan, including improved detection and tracking ranges, decreased track latency, advanced Air to Surface capability and enhanced electronic protection measures.
This radar capability will further improve Eurofighter Typhoon's combat effectiveness, allowing the aircraft to continue to maintain its superiority over future-threat combat aircraft.
The radar system is being designed to fit both Tranche 2 and Tranche 3 aircraft offering customers the freedom to retrofit their existing Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft when required.
The first production orders were placed at the start of 2016 with the required capability to be available for the first deliveries to the Kuwait Air Force – Typhoon’s eighth customer.
Striker II Helmet
Every bit as important as a Typhoon's weapon enhancements, the Striker II helmet is at the forefront of aviation engineering.
Striker II is a fully digital helmet solution with an integrated night vision camera that provides today’s combat pilot with exceptional night vision and target tracking technology.
Striker II has a ‘plug and play’ capability with the Typhoon aircraft, meaning the helmet can be used in any Typhoon aircraft standard without the need to change aircraft hardware.
In addition, integrated night vision capability which removes of the need for separate night vision goggles is a major step forward for pilot comfort and provides a seamless day/night solution.
Two successful phases of flight trials as part of work to integrate the helmet on to the Typhoon aircraft have been undertaken in the past two years. This has proven the maturity of the Striker II technology, which will be a vital asset to the Eurofighter Typhoon pilots of the future.

الطائرة الاختبارية Typhoon GT026 ثنائية المقاعد هي الان في المرحلة الاخيرة لتكتمل داخل منشأة شركة Airbus D&S الالمانية والتي اخذت الرقم التسلسلي العسكري 08+98 ، واول رحلة جوية لها سوف يكون خلال الربع الثالث من العام الحالي 2016 ، بينما اول رحلة اختبارية سوف يكون خلال الربع الاخير من نفس العام
وفي المقام الاول سوف تخدم الطائرة الاختبارية Typhoon IPA8 الجديدة كمنصة اختبار للرادار Captor-E AESA ، والذي مجدول له اكثر من 200 طلعة اختبارية سوف تنجز خلال الاعوام 2016-2021
وفي شهر يونيو الماضي صرحت شركة Airbus D&S الالمانية انه لايزال هناك اي عقد رسمي من شركاء Eurofighter الاوروبين الاربعة فيما يتعلق بالرادار Captor-E AESA اذ لا يوجد حالياً الا "التزام راسخ" من هؤلاء الشركاء ، لكن من الممكن ان ذلك سوف ينتهي بعد ان صارت الكويت اول عميل لمقاتلات Typhoon تحمل الرادار AESA

الطلعة الجوية الاولى لطائرة الاختبار الجديدة Typhoon IPA8 الالمانية (المنصة الاختبارية الثانية للرادار Captor-E AESA) ، ورقمها GT026/98+08
وهذه الطائرة قد تم تجهيزها منذ البداية بالرادار E-Scan على عكس الطائرة الاختبارية Typhoon IPA5 البريطانية (المنصة الاولى لاختبار الرادار Captor-E AESA) والتي تم تعديلها في وقت سابق لحمل هذا الرادارتعليق

طلبت وزارة الدفاع البريطانية من شركة ليوناردو-فينميكانيكا نظام " برايت كلاود" للتشويش على الصواريخ لتركيبه على أسطول مقاتلات "تايفون"، وذلك ضمن عقد بلغت قيمته نحو 32.5 مليون دولار.كما سيخضع نظام BriteCloud لمجموعة تجارب على طائرات سلاح الجو الملكي "تورنادو" في وقت لاحق هذا العام، وذلك ضمن مساعي سلاح الجو الملكي البريطاني للتزود بأنظمة تكنولوجية متطورة.وقال وزير الدفاع البريطاني مايكل فالون."إن التكنولوجيا المتطورة وراء BriteCloud توضح التزام وزارة الدفاع بإجراء صفقات تضمن التفوق والتميز من أجل الحفاظ على قواتنا المسلحة في مأمن من خصومنا".البرايت كلاود هو نظام خداع نشط قابل للاستهلاك خفيف الوزن يتطلب دمجا في حده الادنى على الطائرة ويستخدم ناثرات عصائف وشهب نموذجية، ويستعمل ايضا حلول التشويش الالكترونية المضادة، كما يقدم أوقات لردات فعل سريعة جدا ضد الصواريخ المهاجمة الموجهة راداريا.يذكر أن وزارة الدفاع البريطانية تعمل مع شركة ليوناردو-فينميكانيكا لتطوير نظام BriteCloud منذ عام 2012.

خصصت شركة BAE Systems صفحة في موقعها خاصة بمشاركتها في المنافسة "البلجيكية" للحصول على مقاتلات متقدمة متعددة الادوار تحل مكان اسطول مقاتلات F-16 المتقادمةالمشاركة الأصلية بواسطة Hawk 205 مشاهدة المشاركة
اكدت وزارة الدفاع البلجيكية عن برنامج لشراء 34 مقاتلة جديدة تهدف الى استبدال مقاتلات F-16 ، وسوف تشغلها لاكثر من 40 عاماً وستكلف طوال هذه الفترة نحو 15 مليار يورو
ومن ضمن هذه الطائرات ، سوف تخطط بلجيكا لتخصص طائرتين للقيام بمهام الدورية الجوية بشكل دائم فوق بلجيكا ولوكسمبورغ وهولندا ، واثنين اخريتين لنشرها للقيام بالمهمات القتالية الخارجية
وقد خصصت وزارة الدفاع البلجيكية مبلغ 3.573 مليار يورو لشراء عدد 34 مقاتلة جديدة لتحل مكان مقاتلات F-16 المتقادمة بحلول عام 2023 ، وعلى ان يتم اختيار خليفة طائرات F-16 بحلول منتصف عام 2018 (بعد عامين من الان)
وتتنافس على هذه الصفقة مقاتلات F-35A و F/A-18E/F الامريكيتين ، ومقاتلات Rafale الفرنسية ، ومقاتلات Gripen NG السويدية ، بالاضافة الى مقاتلات Typhoon الاوروبية

شركة Lockheed Martin تزود مقاتلات Typhoon الكويتية بحاضن التهديف المتقدم Sniper ATP
حصلت شركة Lockheed Martin الامريكية على عقد مباشر من شركة Leonardo الشريك الايطالي في برنامج مقاتلات Eurofighter Typhoon وذلك لدمج حواضن الملاحة والتهديف المتقدم Sniper ATP على مقاتلات Typhoon التي طلبتها القوات الجوية الكويتية
العقد يشمل عدد 18 حاضن Sniper ATP مع دمجها وتركيبها على مقاتلات Typhoon الكويتية وايضاً الدعم اللوجستي لها ، وسوف يبدأ تسليم هذه الحواضن ابتداءً من العام القادم 2017
Lockheed Martin’s Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod Continues Platform Expansion with Eurofighter Typhoon
ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 28, 2016 – Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a direct commercial sale contract for the integration of Sniper® Advanced Targeting Pods (ATP) onto the Eurofighter Typhoon swing-role fighter.
The contract, signed with Eurofighter partner company Leonardo Aircraft, includes 18 pods, integration and logistics support for the Kuwait Air Force’s Eurofighter Typhoon. The Eurofighter Typhoon is the ninth aircraft platform to be equipped with Sniper ATP, joining variants of the F-15, F-16, F-18, A-10, B-1, B-52, F-2 and Harrier.
“This contract marks the start of a successful relationship with the Eurofighter consortium to provide critical targeting capability worldwide,” said Ken Fuhr, fixed-wing program director at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. “As a new Sniper ATP user, the Kuwait Air Force will see significant targeting benefits, including high-resolution imagery, advanced targeting modes, and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities.”
Pod deliveries will begin in 2017 to support integration efforts.
Sniper ATP detects, identifies, automatically tracks and laser-designates small tactical targets at long ranges. It also supports employment of all laser- and GPS-guided weapons against multiple fixed and moving targets.
