وقعت عمان عقدا مع شركة Assignia الأسبانية المتخصصة بالبنية التحتية لتحديث قاعدتها الجوية ( صلالة ) بعقد بلغت قيمته 15 مليون يورو 20.7 مليون دولار ,, القاعدة تقع جنوب محافظة ظفار ومجاورة لمطار دولي جاري العمل على تطويره وإضافة مدرج ثاني ,,,
Spanish company Assignia Infraestructuras has announced it has been awarded a EUR15.5 million (USD20.7 million) contract by the Omani Ministry of Defence for work at the Salalah Air Base.No further details have been given, despite several requests from IHS Jane's .Part of the Essentium infrastructure group, Assignia told Spanish state-owned news agency EFE that it had already built up a portfolio of private and public contracts in Oman worth EUR65 million.Located in the southern Dhofar province, the Salalah Air Base is next to an international airport that is currently undergoing a major upgrade that includes the construction of a second runway.
