البحرين ستطور طائرات F-16 وتضع عينيها على التايفون

قال العقيد صلاح المنصور من مقر التخطيط لسلاح الجو البحريني ان البحرين تريد تطوير اسطول طائراتها F-16 ال 21 خلال 2014-2018 وجعلها في مستوى قريب من F-16V خلال صفقة قد تم الاتفاق عليها بشكل اولى مع شركة Lockheed Martin وهذا هو التطوير الثالث من هذا النوع لطائرات F-16 بعد كلاً من تايوان وكوريا الجنوبية

التطويرات ستشمل اضافة رادار AESA والخيارات تقع بين ثلاث رادارات هي

APG-80 صنع Northrop Grumman (المجهزة به طائرات F-16E/F Block60 الاماراتية)


أو SABR ايضاً من صنع Northrop Grumman


أو الرادار RACR صنع شركة Raytheon



وايضاً يشمل التطوير شاشات عرض جديدة ووصلة بيانات Link16 وتطويرات للبرمجيات مع اضافة حاضن سنايبر AN/AAQ-33 صنع Lockheed Martin



اما بالنسبة للذخائر الجديدة افاد العقيد المنصور بانه سيتم اضافة قنابل JDAM الموجهة بالGPS وصواريخ سايدوندر جو-جو قصيرة المدى AIM-9X وصواريخ أمرام AIM-120D المتوسطة المدى مع ان النسخة D لم يصرح بعد بتصديرها اذ لازالت تعمل بشكل ابتدائي في امريكا







البحرين مقبلة على صفقة جوية جديدة فسلاح الجو البحريني لديه 16 طائرة F-5E/F تحتاج الى استبدال والفائز سيعلن خلال معرض البحرين الدولي للطيران في يناير 2014 مع ان اليوروفايتر تايفون هي الاوفر حظاً اذ تريد البحرين شراء 12 طائرة منها وهي الان امام خيارين اما ان تشتري 12 تايفون مع 20-22 طائرة F-16 حالياً موجودة بالخدمة ستطور الى مستوى F-16E/F Block60 او F-16V Viber واما ان تشتري F-16 جديدة مع تطوير الاسطول الحالي وبهذا يكون الاسطول بكاملة مكون من طراز واحد ,, وعملية الترقية للاسطول الحالي سيبدأ خلال 2014

صفقة تايفون محتملة للبحرين

خلال معرض دبي للطيران 2013 اجتمع ملك البحرين حمد بن عيسى مع وزير الدفاع البريطاني فيليب هاموند لمناقشة صفقة التايفون المحتملة وقد صرح فيليب هامون عقب لقائه مع الملك حمد للصحافيين بان المناقشات ايجابية جداً وانه يتطلع الى نتيجة جيدة في الوقت المناسب

التايفون في حال شرائها سوف تحل مكان طائرات F-5E/F في سلاح الجو البحريني وقد بدأت هذه المناقشات منذ بداية العام الجاري والتي سوف تنتهي ويعلن عنها في منتصف يناير القادم خلال معرض البحرين الدولي للطيران 2014

DUBAI: Bahrain moves closer to Typhoon deal

Bahrain’s interest in acquiring the Eurofighter Typhoon appears to be building further, with UK defence secretary Philip Hammond having met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifah at the Dubai air show to discuss the potential deal.

“We continue to have very fruitful discussions with Bahrain about Typhoon, and we very much hope that Bahrain will decide soon to join the Typhoon family,” Hammond told journalists after their meeting on 17 November. “I think those discussions are very positive, and I look forward to a good outcome in due course.”

The King of Bahrain met UK prime minister David Cameron earlier this year to discuss a possible purchase of the Typhoon as a replacement for its air force’s Northrop F-5 fighters. The UK government and national Eurofighter partner company BAE Systems are leading a campaign to sell the type to the Gulf Cooperation Council member.

A potential opportunity to conclude a deal could come as soon as mid-January, when the Bahrain international air show will take place.
Asked about the UK’s willingness to do business with Bahrain, following its measures to quell political opposition within its borders, Hammond says: “This is nothing to do with the internal situation. Jet aircraft are about the external defence of the country, and allowing Bahrain to contribute to the defence of the GCC countries collectively.”

البحرين ستبدأ تطوير طائرات F-16 خلال 2014

توقيع عقد التطوير سيكون في شهر June او July عام 2014 وسيبدأ تسليم الطائرات المطورة في اواخر 2016 و اوائل 2017 وسينتهي التطوير في 2018

البحرين تملك 17 طائرة F-16C و 4 F-16D وستطورها بتزويدها برادارات AESA وقنابل JDAM وصواريخ AIM-9X و AIM-120D

البحرين تريد احلال طائرات F-5E/F بأخرى حديثة وكانت التايفون هي الخيار الامثل وسيتم النتهاء من المناقشات ويتم الاعلان عنها في 16-18 يناير 2014 اثناء معرض البحرين الدولي للطيران

واحدى الخيارات التي وضعت ايضاً هي طائرات رافال الفرنسية وايضاً على المدى الطويل كانت هناك F-35 JSF

وايضاً هناك خطط لشراء طائرات F-16 حديثة

Bahrain is to launch a major upgrade for its Lockheed Martin F-16 combat aircraft during 2014, as a decision is also expected on acquiring a new-generation type to bolster its capabilities.

Initial plans for the modernisation have already been agreed with Lockheed, and a contract signature is anticipated in June or July 2014, says Col Salah Al-Mansoor from the Royal Bahraini Air Force’s planning headquarters.


Improvements will include the addition of an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, new multi-function cockpit displays and a Link 16 datalink. A Lockheed Sniper targeting pod should also be added, along with weapons including Boeing JDAM and other precision-guided bombs, the D-model version of Raytheon’s AIM-120 AMRAAM and the same company’s AIM-9X Sidewinder air-to-air missile, says Al-Mansoor.

“We are looking for the upgrade to start in 2014, and to be complete by 2018,” he told IQPC’s International Fighter conference in London on 12 November. The first four modernised fighters are likely to be returned to service by late 2016 or early 2017, he adds.


The Common Capability Integration Programme upgrade is likely to use Lockheed’s M6.2 software standard as its baseline, Al-Mansoor says. An AESA system selection between Northrop Grumman’s Scalable Agile Beam Radar and the Raytheon Advanced Combat Radar has yet to be reached, he adds.


Bahrain’s air force currently flies 17 F-16C fighters and four D-version trainers, which Flightglobal’s MiliCAS database records as having been delivered in two batches between 1990 and 2002.


In addition to upgrading its current F-16s, Bahrain’s fleet modernisation plan also covers the selection of a new multirole combat aircraft, and the retirement of its last Northrop F-5 interceptors later this decade.


The Eurofighter Typhoon is the clear frontrunner for the former requirement, with an order to potentially be finalised at the Bahrain international air show, which will be staged from 16-18 January 2014. Another possible solution would be the Dassault Rafale, or, longer-term, Lockheed’s F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.


Al-Mansoor reveals that the Gulf Cooperation Council state is also considering the possibility of ordering a follow-on batch of advanced-model F-16s, as well as a new type. A decision is expected during 2014, he says, noting: “We must analyse and determine the cost of the future force structure.”

يبدوا ان البحرين ستنظم الى النادي التايفوني قريباً وبهذا تكون ثامن دولة تشغل التايفون وثالث بلد خليجي بعد السعودية وعمان

ال 12 طائرة تايفون التي تخطط ان تشتريها البحرين هي بلا شك ستكون Tranche 3 لكن هل ستكون النسخة A ام B ؟

عمان تعاقدت في ديسمبر 2012 لشراء 12 تايفون ترانش 3A حيث سيبدأ التسليم في 2017 ,, اما البحرين فاذا تعاقدت على التايفون في يناير 2014 فاتوقع ان يبدأ التسليم في 2018 او 2019

عمان البحرين عندما تتسلمان طائرات التايفون ابتداءاً من 2017 فانهما سيكونان محظوظان اذ ان في هذا الوقت يكون قد تم دمج العديد من القدرات المتقدمة والذخائر الجديدة وبالتالي عمليات اوسع واشمل من طائرات ترانش 2 او حتى طائرات ترانش 3 الاولية والتي لن تحظى بقدرات تعددية المهام بشكل كامل

والله لو يخلي كل طائراته اف 16 تكون شخله مضبوطه منها يقلل التكلفه وهم عنده خبره مسبقه على هذه الطائره

من المحتمل أن توقع البحرين عقد شراء التايفون في معرض البحرين الجوي بعد شهرين من الأن ,,,,,,
