حزمة تطوير مرحلة العزيز الاول P1E تدخل الخدمة على متن اول 17 طائرة تايفون تابعة لسلاح الجو البريطاني
وستسلم 18 طائرة اخرى مجهزة بهذه الحزمة بحلول شهر ابريل من العام القادم 2015

حزمة تطوير P1E تحول التايفون لمنصة متعددة\متقلبة الادوار اذ سيكون بمقدورها القيام بعمليات جو-جو او جو-سطح او كليهم معاً في نفس المهمة

تتألف حزمة التطوير P1E الى جزئين A و B وتشمل التطويرات دمج القنابل Paveway IV و EGBU-16 مع حاضن التهديف Litening III ودمج كامل لصواريخ IRIS-T

كذلك تشمل التطويرات تحسين نظام الدفاعي DASS ونظام توزيع البيانات MIDS ونظام التعريف العدو من الصديق IFF mode 5

Royal Air force now flying their most advanced fighter jets ever



The Royal Air Force’s (RAF) most advanced fighters ever are now in operational service following the largest ever fighter upgrade programme delivered by BAE Systems.

Known as Phase 1 Enhancements (P1E), the upgrade package delivers a range of enhancements to the Typhoon aircraft. Developed by BAE Systems working together with its Eurofighter Partner companies, the RAF and UK Ministry of Defence, (MOD), the capabilities introduced have been developed on the back of operations in Libya, and cement Typhoon’s place as a world class multi-role fighter.

The aircraft upgrades include enhanced computing power, weapons systems integration advancements and improved sensor suites making Typhoon even more potent whether tasked with air-to-air work, air-to-surface or a combination of both during a single mission. The P1E enhancements package delivers much more flexibility in mission planning. It allows a single pilot, in a single aircraft to simultaneously attack six different targets in one pass.

Divided into two elements, Phase 1 Enhancements (a) and Phase 1Enhancements (b), the latter takes the multi-role concept to a new level. Typhoon Requirements Manager, Wing Commander Stephen Williams said: “P1Eb allows Typhoon to begin realising its air-to-surface capability while also delivering in the air-to-air arena. Our ability to switch between air-to-air and air-to-surface modes is a big step, providing great flexibility for our pilots on Operations. This is a key step to delivering capability for the UK’s Interim Force 15.”

The PE1b package also brings upgrades for the aircraft’s Defensive Aids Sub System and the latest interoperability updates for the Multifunction Information and Distribution Systems, which together ensure the Typhoon remains one of the most effective aircraft in the skies.

Testing of the P1E package was conducted through a combined industry and MOD team. Martin Taylor, Director for Combat Air at BAE Systems said: “P1E is a massive leap forward in capability and by working jointly as one team, we’ve ensured that there are no surprises when it enters service. We have delivered a capability with all the necessary training and support to make sure it is ready and usable from day one.”

The first 17 P1E standard aircraft are now in service with the RAF with a further 18 to be delivered by 1st April 2015.

تم تجهيز طائرات التايفون بحزمة قدرات جديدة والتي قد دخلت الخدمة في سلاح الجو الملكي البريطاني كما جاء في تصريح لشركة BAE يوم الجمعة بانها قد جهزت اول 17 طائرة بحزمة تطوير P1E وهي الأن في الخدمة على تلك الطائرات

وفي ابريل القادم سوف يكون هناك نحو 35 مقاتلة ترانش 2 مجهزة بهذه الحزمة والتي كلفت حوالي 1.2 مليون يورو (1.9 مليون دولار) وفي نهاية المطاف سوف تجهز باقي طائرات ترانش 2 والبالغ عددها 67 طائرة بحزمة التطوير P1E

وبحسب المتحدثة الرسمية لشركة BAE ان سلاح الجو البريطاني يتوقع ان يحصل على القدرات التشغيلية الكاملة FOC بحلول شهر ابريل من العام القادم 2015

وسيبدأ باقي مشغلي التايفون الاوروبيين (المانيا , اسبانيا و ايطاليا) في ادخال حزمة P1E الخدمة على طائراتهم ابتداءاً من العام القادم

طائرات ترانش 2 سوف تجهز بحزمة P1E وبعض تلك التحسينات سوف تكون كمعيار في طائرات ترانش 3 التي سوف تسلم للمشغلين الاوروبيين وللزبائن الدوليين كالسعودية وعمان

التطويرات القادمة في مسار تطوير التايفون سوف تركز على توسيع انواع الذخائر التي يمكن ان تحملها الطائرة

حزمة تطوير مرحلة التعزيز الثانية P2E سوف تقوم بدمج الصواريخ الجوالة Storm Shadow ضمن حزمة P2EA وصواريخ القتال الجوي بعيد المدى Meteor ضمن حزمة P2EB

اما عن حزمة تطوير مرحلة التعزيز الثالث P3E فقد تم الحصول على تمويل من وزارة الدفاع البريطانية من اجل العمل لفترة طويلة لدمج صواريخ الهجوم الارضي Brimstone 2 ومن المتوقع ان تمنح العقود الكاملة لدمجه في الربع الاول من العام القادم 2015

ومن المقرر ان تستكمل شركة BAE عقد درسة دمج صواريخ Brimstone 2 في الشهر القادم والذي تعاقدت عليه في شهر يونيو الماضي بقيمة 5 ملايين جنيه استرليني لاجل اسراع وتيرة دمج الصاروخ المذكور والذي متوقع ان يكتمل دمجه على التايفون في خضون العام 2018

ولازالت شركة Eurofighter تنتظر الدول الشريكة لتوقيع عقد انتاج الرادار Captor-E AESA ذو المسح الالكتروني النشط والتي يجري تطويرها بواسطة شركة Selex ES

احدى المصادر من البرنامج قال ان توقيع العقد قد تراجع الى نهاية السنة الحالية 2014 وافاد المتحدث الرسمي لشركة Selex ES في بريطانيا ان الشركة واثقة من توقيع العقد قبل نهاية السنة الحالية




British RAF Now Flying Improved Typhoon Aircraft

LONDON — Typhoon fighters equipped with a package of new capabilities have entered operational service with the Royal Air Force.

BAE Systems, a partner in the Eurofighter consortium that builds the Typhoon, said Friday that the first 15 of the RAF aircraft fitted with what is known as the Phase 1 Enhancements Package (P1E) are now in service.

Separately, BAE is also working on a new set of upgrades for the jet, and a company spokesman said BAE expects to be under contract to integrate the latest version of the Brimstone ground attack missile, known as Brimstone 2, on Typhoon in the first quarter of 2015.

By next April the RAF should have received 35 of the Tranche 2 fighters upgraded with the new P1E capabilities in a 1.2 billion euro (US $1.9 billion) program that will eventually see all 67 aircraft of the type in the British fleet modified.

The RAF expects to declare full operational capability in April, a BAE spokeswoman said.

The spokeswoman said it was the largest ever fighter upgrade program ever handled by BAE.

Eurofighter is owned by Airbus Defence and Space, BAE and Finmeccanica. The four-nation European program involves Britain, Germany, Italy and Spain.

The upgrade includes integration of the Paveway IV precision guided bomb, full air-to-surface integration including a Litening III targeting pod, and full integration of the IRIS-T short-range air-to-air missile used by all the Typhoon operators except the UK.

Other improvements include an updated multifunctional information distribution system (MIDS), Mode 5 identification friend-or-foe system, and improved radios and direct voice inputs.

Other Eurofighter partner nations will receive P1E enhancements starting in 2015.

Only Tranche 2 aircraft will receive P1E. The enhancements come as standard on Tranche 3 aircraft now being delivered to European Typhoon partners and customers like Saudi Arabia and Oman.

The package is divided into two elements, Phase 1 Enhancements (a) and (b). The latter allows pilots to undertake ground attack duties while still engaging aerial threats.

“P1Eb allows Typhoon to begin realizing its air-to-surface capability while also delivering in the air-to-air arena. Our ability to switch between air-to-air and air-to-surface modes is a big step, providing great flexibility for our pilots on operations,” said Typhoon Requirements Manager, Wing Cmdr. Stephen Williams.

Next up on the upgrade path for the Typhoon is an extension of the weapon types the jet can carry.

“We have contracts and work ongoing for the Phase 2 Enhancements package and long lead-time activity commenced around the Phase 3 Enhancements package,” the BAE spokeswoman said. “Phase 2 Enhancements will offer integration of the Stormshadow stand-off missile through P2Ea and the Meteor beyond-visual-range, air-to-air missile at P2Eb. For Phase 3 Enhancements, we have funding from the UK MoD for long lead-time work for integration of the dual-mode Brimstone 2 weapon, with full contract award expected in Quarter 1 next year.”

Brimstone 2 is expected to enter service on RAF Tornado jets next year.

BAE is due to complete to complete a £5 million study contract evaluating the integration of Brimstone 2 on Typhoon next month.

Announcing the contract in June, BAE said integration on Typhoon could be completed by 2018.

Since then, an MoD source said, there has been an effort to speed up that process.

British Prime Minister David Cameron recently announced that he had suspended for 12 months plans to axe one of the three Tornado squadrons that the RAF still operates in order to sustain the effort to provide reconnaissance and strike capabilities against Islamic State militants in Iraq.

The RAF has eight Tornadoes operating out of Cyprus. The aircraft is the only strike jet able to carry the highly regarded dual-mode Brimstone and Storm Shadow missiles until integration on Typhoon is completed.

Britain announced Thursday it was deploying armed Reaper remotely piloted aircraft to the region to boost British capabilities.

Eurofighter is still waiting for the partner nations to sign a production contract for the introduction of the Captor-E active electronically scanned array radar being developed by Selex ES and its Euroradar partners.

A program source confirmed that the signing of the deal had slipped to the end of 2014, and “the staffing process within some partner nations is taking more time than originally planned.”

“Germany is still sorting out some details,” a second source said
A Selex ES spokesman in the UK said only that the company is “confident that the core nations’ contract will be signed before year-end 2014.”

“The full-scale development program has been progressing to schedule, the precise details are private,” he said

متى تتوقع ان نستلم اول طائره تحتوي على هذه الحزمه ومتى سيتم تطوير الطائرات الموجوده الى هذه الحزمه

Storm Shadow سنحصل عليه على التايفون خلال 2015 ,, وال Meteor خلال 2017 مالم نسرع عمليه دمجه ونستخدم صواريخ IRIS-T الالمانية بدلاً من ASRAAM البريطاني
