حزمة تطوير مرحلة العزيز الاول P1E تدخل الخدمة على متن اول 17 طائرة تايفون تابعة لسلاح الجو البريطاني
وستسلم 18 طائرة اخرى مجهزة بهذه الحزمة بحلول شهر ابريل من العام القادم 2015

حزمة تطوير P1E تحول التايفون لمنصة متعددة\متقلبة الادوار اذ سيكون بمقدورها القيام بعمليات جو-جو او جو-سطح او كليهم معاً في نفس المهمة

تتألف حزمة التطوير P1E الى جزئين A و B وتشمل التطويرات دمج القنابل Paveway IV و EGBU-16 مع حاضن التهديف Litening III ودمج كامل لصواريخ IRIS-T

كذلك تشمل التطويرات تحسين نظام الدفاعي DASS ونظام توزيع البيانات MIDS ونظام التعريف العدو من الصديق IFF mode 5

Royal Air force now flying their most advanced fighter jets ever



The Royal Air Force’s (RAF) most advanced fighters ever are now in operational service following the largest ever fighter upgrade programme delivered by BAE Systems.

Known as Phase 1 Enhancements (P1E), the upgrade package delivers a range of enhancements to the Typhoon aircraft. Developed by BAE Systems working together with its Eurofighter Partner companies, the RAF and UK Ministry of Defence, (MOD), the capabilities introduced have been developed on the back of operations in Libya, and cement Typhoon’s place as a world class multi-role fighter.

The aircraft upgrades include enhanced computing power, weapons systems integration advancements and improved sensor suites making Typhoon even more potent whether tasked with air-to-air work, air-to-surface or a combination of both during a single mission. The P1E enhancements package delivers much more flexibility in mission planning. It allows a single pilot, in a single aircraft to simultaneously attack six different targets in one pass.

Divided into two elements, Phase 1 Enhancements (a) and Phase 1Enhancements (b), the latter takes the multi-role concept to a new level. Typhoon Requirements Manager, Wing Commander Stephen Williams said: “P1Eb allows Typhoon to begin realising its air-to-surface capability while also delivering in the air-to-air arena. Our ability to switch between air-to-air and air-to-surface modes is a big step, providing great flexibility for our pilots on Operations. This is a key step to delivering capability for the UK’s Interim Force 15.”

The PE1b package also brings upgrades for the aircraft’s Defensive Aids Sub System and the latest interoperability updates for the Multifunction Information and Distribution Systems, which together ensure the Typhoon remains one of the most effective aircraft in the skies.

Testing of the P1E package was conducted through a combined industry and MOD team. Martin Taylor, Director for Combat Air at BAE Systems said: “P1E is a massive leap forward in capability and by working jointly as one team, we’ve ensured that there are no surprises when it enters service. We have delivered a capability with all the necessary training and support to make sure it is ready and usable from day one.”

The first 17 P1E standard aircraft are now in service with the RAF with a further 18 to be delivered by 1st April 2015.

ما اعرفه ان بريطانيا اختارت الاسرام بدلا عنه

حزمة تطوير P1E يشمل اضافة نمط Digital للصاروخ IRIS-T التي تعمل على التايفون لجميع مشغليها باستثناء بريطانيا التي لديها صواريخ ASRAAM للقتال الجوي القريب

الصاروخ ASRAAM حصل على نمط Digital على التايفون البريطانية منذ مستوى معيار ترانش 1 بلوك 5

وزارة الدفاع البريطانية تريد تسريع وتيرة تطوير التايفون التابعة لها لتستطيع حمل واطلاق صواريخ Brimstone 2 في وقت ابكر مما اعلن عنه وذلك كونها اكتشفت نقصاً في طائرات الهجوم الارضي اثناء حملتها الجوية على تنظيم داعش في العراق وسوريا

مقاتلات التوريندو GR4 هي المنصة الوحيدة القادرة على حمل واطلاق صواريخ Brimstone وسوف يخرج آخر سرب منها خلال العام 2019 وقد اعلن في وقت سابق من هذا العام تمديد خدمة احد اسراب التورنيدو لسنة أخرى بعد ان كانت ستخرج من الخدمة هذه السنة وذلك لدعم ضرباتها الجوية ضد تنظيم داعش

صواريخ Brimstone 2 هي صواريخ موجهة تكتيكية جو ارض دقيقة الاصابة لديها قدرة لاصابة مركبة تسير بسرعة تتجاوز 100 كلم بالساعة وسوف يتم دمجها على التايفون في عام 2018 ليدخل الخدمة في سلاح الجو الملكي البريطاني في العام الذي يليه 2019

ولكن وزارة الدفاع البريطانية تريد دمجها على التايفون في اسرع وقت ممكن وقد دخلت في نقاشات ومفاوضات بهذا الشأن لكن حتى لو تم عملية اسراع تطوير التايفون فانها لن تكون جاهزة لحمل صواريخ Brimstone 2 الا في عام 2017



MoD to speed up Typhoon upgrade for Iraq campaign

The Ministry of Defence wants to speed up putting precision-guided Brimstone missiles on RAF Typhoon jets because the campaign against Isil has exposed Britain's shortage of ground attack jets



The Ministry of Defence is speeding up plans to upgrade the RAF’s Typhoon jets with precision missiles in case they are one day needed to bomb Isil fighters in Iraq.

Defence sources said Britain’s role in the unexpected campaign against Islamist militants had exposed a shortage of ground attack jets which will only get worse as the RAF’s ageing Tornado planes retire.

Only Tornado GR4 fighter-bombers are fitted with Britain’s highly accurate Brimstone missiles which are considered critical to the campaign against Isil forces who have swept across Northern Iraq.

Commanders say the missiles are unique among the coalition forces and envied by America for their ability to hit moving vehicles, while minimising civilian casualties with a small warhead.

The MoD announced earlier this year it planned to fit the missiles to Typhoons by 2019 so they can take over the Tornados ground attack duties when the jets retire that year.

But RAF chiefs have now warned the unexpected extra burden of the Iraq campaign on its shrinking fleet of combat jets means they may soon struggle to field enough planes carrying the £105,000 missiles.

The Government has already given a one year reprieve to a squadron of Tornado GR4s which had been due to be axed early next year.

The MoD is now in talks to speed up the upgrade, but defence analysts say it could still be 2017 before the Typhoons are ready.

Howard Wheeldon, a defence analyst, said: “It’s a pity this decision was not made a long time ago. Typhoon will not be fully air-to-ground capable until 2019, and that’s really too far out.

“It isn’t just about bunging Brimstone on the aircraft. Even if it went really well, I think 2017 would be the earliest that it could really be operational.

“It was only six months ago that the Defence Secretary was saying we would not be fighting any more conflicts abroad in the near future. Things have changed a lot since then with Iraq, while we are still in Afghanistan, as well as Nigeria and the Falklands.

“They don’t have the capacity to do that. This is a realisation that we need to be able to operate more than one campaign.”

Air chiefs have also warned that the strain of the seven or eight hour round trip to bomb Isil targets from the Tornados base at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus will increase the wear and tear on the ageing planes.

Ministers have admitted the Iraq campaign could take several years. The US-led coalition has already launched hundreds of air strikes in both Iraq and Syria, but Iraqi forces have been unable to capitalise on the onslaught to drive back Isil, also known as Isis or Islamic State.

Typhoons were designed in the 1990s as air-to-air combat fighters to defend Britain’s skies against enemy planes, rather than for ground attack.

The RAF has begun taking delivery of upgraded planes which can drop the Tornados’ Paveway IV guided bombs.

An MoD spokesperson said: “We have already deployed a number of Tornado GR4s to support coalition operations against Isil in Iraq.

“Whilst we constantly review our options, there are no plans to deploy Typhoon to Iraq as the GR4 provides the optimum capability for the operation. Although work is under way to evaluate the integration of Brimstone missiles with the Typhoon aircraft, no firm decisions have been made.”

(اندونيسيا جاهزة للاقلاع) تحت هذا الشعار روجت شركة Airbus D&S الالمانية مقاتلات التايفون في اندونيسيا اثناء مشاركتها في المعرض الدفاعي Indo المقام في العاصمة جاكرتا

اندونيسيا تعتزم تجديد مقاتلاتها المتقادمة طراز F-5E Tiger في سلاح جوها والتي تتنافس ايضاً معها شركتي Lockheed Martin و Boeing الامريكيتين بعرضهما مقاتلات F-16 و F/A-18 على التوالي وشركة SAAB السويدية بمقاتلات Gripen NG وشركة Sukhoi الروسية بطائرات Su-30 واخيراً شركة Dassau الفرنسية بطائرات Rafale

التايفون المعروضة على اندونيسيا سوف تكون مجهزة بالقدرات الحالية والمستقبلية لها مثل التفوق الجوي ، قدرات الهجوم البري والبحري ، بالاضافة الى قدرات غير مسبوقة في المراقبة والاستطلاع والاستخبارات وتستطيع حمل تشكيلة متنوعة من الذخائر مثل قنابل Paveway IV وصواريخ Brimstone 2 و Meteor و Storm Shadow وغيرها

ايضاً في حال التوصل الى اتفاق فانه من المحتمل ان تقوم اندونيسيا بالقيام بالتجميع النهائي للتايفون محلياً وعدد الطائرات التي تريد شرائها اندونيسيا هو 16 طائرة متوقع ان تكلف حوالي مليار دولار

صرح وزير الدفاع البريطاني مايكل فالون في 31 اكتوبر ان مقاتلات التايفون جاهزة للوفاء بالمتطلبات الهندية في حال فشل الوصول الى اتفاق نهائي او مماطلة مع فرنسا لاتمام صفقة شراء 126 طائرة رافال بمبلغ 20 مليار دولار كانت قد فازت فيها الرفال في منافسة محمومة مع التايفون ضمن برنامج MMRCA الهندي


Eurofighter ready to step in if Rafale deal fails, UK minister says

NEW DELHI: The Eurofighter Typhoon is eagerly waiting in the wings to fulfill India's requirements if the ongoing final negotiations for 126 French Rafale fighters fail for the almost $20 billion MMRCA (medium multi-role combat aircraft) project.

"We recognize the Indian government has put the French first in the MMRCA project. But we are still part of the competition. If the negotiations with France fail or stall, we are ready to step in," said visiting British defence secretary Michael Fallon, in an exclusive interview to TOI on Thursday afternoon.

The David Cameron government is "very enthused" about partnering the Modi government in its "Make in India" campaign in the defence technology and production sector. "We see a huge opportunity for the UK. It's a hugely exciting time in India, with the new government taking rapid decisions," said Fallon, who met defence minister Arun Jaitley earlier in the day.

نجحت احدى مقاتلات التايفون التابعة لسلاح الجو الملكي البريطاني لاول مرة في اطلاق قنبلتين Paveway IV في نفس الوقت على هدفين مختلفين ,, الطائرة التي نفذت المهمة هي ZK303/AX وكانت مجهزة باحدث مستوى برمجيات اصدر حتى الان وهو P1EB/SRP12


First multiple release of PavewayTM IV from an RAF Typhoon is a success

Warton, Lancashire: BAE Systems working closely with the Royal Air Force and weapons manufacturer Raytheon UK have completed a series of flight trials culminating in the successful release of two PavewayTM IV precision guided weapons simultaneously from a Typhoon aircraft. This is the first multiple release of the PavewayTM IV from an RAF Typhoon to multiple targets.


The trials were conducted by a joint industry and RAF team from Typhoon aircraft BT017 equipped with the very latest Phase 1 Enhancements package (P1Eb). P1E implements full air-to-surface capability onto the Typhoon Tranche 2 aircraft. The trials demonstrated the full air-to-surface capability of the P1Eb product, with the PavewayTM IV weapon, including self-designation with laser guidance to the target and GPS-only guided releases.


Steve Formoso, BAE Systems Typhoon Test Pilot said: “What this trial has demonstrated is the ability of Typhoon armed with PavewayTM IV to attack multiple targets. The drop was part of a programme proving the latest P1Eb upgrade for the RAF Typhoon fleet. P1Eb standard Typhoons can carry up to six PavewayTM IV weapons which can be released simultaneously against multiple targets.”


Sean Cutler, deputy head of FAST Capability Acquisition at the MOD's Defence Equipment and Support organisation, said: "P1Eb allows Typhoon to begin realising its air-to-ground capability using PavewayTM IV, while also delivering in the air-to-air arena. Our ability to switch between air-to-air and air-to-ground modes is a big step, providing flexibility for our pilots on operations. This is a key step to delivering capability for the UK's Interim Force 15."
The trials build on an earlier series of flight trials to fully exploit the PavewayTM IV weapon with the Typhoon aircraft, delivering an effective air-to-surface capability.

وماذا عن قدرات جو سطح هل هناك اي تجارب حاليا على دمج صواريخ جو سطح وهل من الممكن استخدام اي من الاسلحه العامله على التايفون حاليا لمهاجمة اهداف بحريه

شي يقهر بصراحة 16 طائرة فقط اشترتها اندونيسيا ويحق لها القيام بالتجميع النهائي للتايفون محلياً .. !!!

وحنا اللي دافعين مليارات أجهض برنامج التجميع لدينا .. !!
